-The boys placed 3rd in the large schools race at the Averill Invite with Zach Stewart taking the individual crown! The team did an excellent job battling on the tough course. Results are posted on athletic.net. JV times are only available on running2win.
-Friday, the 15th, we race in the Spartan Invite at Forest Akers East Golf Course in East Lansing. The meet will see several races with the boys competing in the Spartan Elite Race at 2:00 with awards (top 3 teams and 30 individuals) at 3:45. JV race at 2:50 with awards presented in the finish chute to the top 50 individuals. The bus will leave at 10:30. Varsity runners will wear a varsity singlet and JV runners will wear their black and orange singlets.
-Spartan Invite spectators will be charged $7. Parking will be available in the MSU commuter lot. A free shuttle service will run from the commuter lot to the course clubhouse.
-Support Brighton Cross Country. Busch's grocery store partners with local school organizations with their Cash for Education program. By signing up for a MyWay account and selecting Brighton Cross Country, participants earn rewards for Brighton XC each time they use their MyWay account. More details can be found here.
-Support Brighton Cross Country. Chipotle on Grand River in Brighton will be hosting a Brighton Cross Country team night on Tuesday, September 26th from 4-8 p.m. 50% of the proceeds will be donated to Brighton XC. The flyer can be viewed here.
