Off-Season Updates 2-17-19
-The indoor season is wrapping up after several PR's and two New Balance Indoor National qualifiers! The team is looking strong heading into the outdoor season.
-The 2019 BHS Track and Field schedule is posted on Athletic.net. We are looking for volunteers to help out at our four home meets this season. No experience is needed. If you can read, write, and hold a clipboard you are qualified to volunteer. Please consider signing up for a shift here.
-Again this spring the XC team will be participating in the Busch's Spring Milk Drive. Participation in the drive provided the team with the funds needed to ensure our athletes had chocolate milk after every workout and race in the 2018 season. More importantly our participation also helped raise awareness for the drive which helped increase donations for those in need within our community. Athletes can sign up for a shift here.
-Good luck to all the athletes entering their championship season this winter! Runners that competed in winter sports are encouraged to take a two week transition period after their winter season concludes. Athletes looking for specifics on returning to training should speak with one of their captains or contact Coach Elsey.
