-The boys beat Hartland 27-28 improving to 3-1 on the season and placed 15th out of 43 teams at the Portage Invite! Thank you to the parents who volunteered to carpool and helped setup and tear down the tent. Results to both meets are on athletic.net and running2win.

-Tuesday, the 11th, we race against Grand Blanc and honor our seniors at senior night. We will wear our orange and white singlets. Athletes will car pool from BHS to the park. Boys race at 4:30, girls race at 5:00, senior night afterwards. All seniors need to return their bio at Monday's practice.

-Saturday, the 15th, we race at Hudson Mills in the Gabriel Richard Invite. The bus is tentatively scheduled to leave BHS at 10:30. Boys JV race at 12:30, girls JV race at 1:05, boys varsity race at 1:45, girls varsity race at 2:15. Varsity will wear a "varsity set" and JV will wear their black singlet. Runners who are withheld from racing will attend prepared to practice.

-After the KLAA Conference Championships October 20th, all practices and meets are optional for non-varsity athletes. If a runner wants to compete in the End of Autumn Open, October 26th, or the PR Invite, November 2nd, they must continue to practice as they have all season. These optional practices/meets count towards any make-up practices.

-Boys Awards Night is scheduled for November 17th at 7:30 in the SMS cafeteria.
