-Our first competition of the 2026 season is just a couple weeks away! The work of our athletes over the summer (and winter) months make the difference when the competiton begins. -The BXC Fall Parent Meeting is this Tuesday, the 4th 6 p.m. in the BHS Cafeteria. -This year's Middle School XC Camp was a great time for all! Results to the 2K race are posted on our Middle School Camp page. Credit for the success of this camp goes to our high school volunteers. -The wildfire smoke provide some challenges but we came back Saturday with strong performances at our July Time Trial! Our Camp Time Trial is on Friday, July 31st. There are plenty of opportunities for new/first time qualifiers this year. -The program had over 40 athletes and alumni at Kensington Camp and 20 volunteer athletes at Huron Meadows! The desire to be with their teammates and willingness to work are good signs for the upcoming season. Week 2 summer photos -Wednesday's single track trail is at the Highland Rec Area. Updates - 7-6-26
-We hope everyone enjoyed some fun filled family time and is ready for the busy week ahead! -Kensington Camp is this Tuesday, the 7th from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Every XC runner is strongly encouraged to attend (alumni as well!). Athletes should come dressed ready to run and bring their recovery food and water. We'll have groups running 3-6+ miles. After the run the team will play Nuke'Em and Ultimate. Updates - 6-29-26 - Dead Week
-After a strong first week of summer workouts the team will pause for the MHSAA mandated Dead Week. Coaches will not meet/communicate with athletes during this time. More info on Dead Week can be found on the MHSAA website. -Thank you to everyone that has completed the registration process on Final Forms. All athletes and a parent/guardian must complete the registration. An updated physical (dated after 4-15-26) also must be uploaded to Final Forms prior to official practices

Updates - 6-22-26
-Our first optional off-season workout is this Monday! These workouts are a great way to bond with teammates and prepare for the upcoming season. Athletes should bring water, recovery food, and a towel each day they attend. The time together after the workout playing Ultimate and/or Nuke'Em is just as valuable as the workout itself. Everyone, especially new athletes and incoming freshmen, are strongly encouraged to stay after for these team games. -Our seniors had a great tim

Off-Season Updates - 6-5-26
-The 2026 BHS Track and Field is in the books. We sent nine athletes to the State Championships and came away with All-State performances in the 4x800m relay and 800m run! Complete results are posted on athletic.net. This is the third consecutive year our 4x800m relay has run under 7:55 and earned All-State. Our athletes success is directly related to their willingness to train hard together during the off-season. -We have a couple of meetings this upcoming Tuesday, June 9th

Off-Season Updates - 3-29-26
-We are in the thick of the track and field season with our first meet only a few days away! This year we'll be holding four home meets with the Bulldog Invite on Saturday, April 25th. These meets are great opportunities for alumni to reconnect with the program. -Over the course of the winter months the team averaged 24+ runners at our optional indoor season workouts. Our athletes work ethic and desire to train with their teammates have been the driving factor in our program'

Off-Season Updates - 2-8-26
-The outdoor track and field season is just a few weeks away! The consistent efforts of our athletes this winter will pay off in the spring and fall. All runners that are not participating in a winter sport are highly encouraged to attend our optional off-season workouts. -We're looking for athlete volunteers to help out with the Mother/Son and Daddy/Daughter Sweetheart Dances on February 20th and 21st. -Our athletes' off-season attendance through December was very strong. The investments in the program and in their teammates over these winter months will lead to great outcomes on and off the course. All athletes not competing in a winter sport or training for their spring sport are highly encouraged to attend. -We had nearly 40 athletes and alumni at Ultimate New Year! -Optional Indoor Season workouts begin Tuesday, December 2nd! This opportunity to train with teammates has been invaluable to the sustained success of the program. Every athlete not participating in the BHS winter sport is highly encouraged to attend! -While there is no official MHSAA indoor track season (yet), athletes do have the opportunity to compete in the Michigan Indoor Track Series (MITS) meets. End of Season Updates
-The team finished 4th and Zach Wyderko earned All-State finishing 18th at the MHSAA State Champioships! Results are on athletic.net. -Many great things to be proud of this season. This was the program's 7th Regional Championship in 8 years, 10th consecutive year qualifying for the state meet, and the 5th consecutive top 4 finish at the state meet. Our athletes eagerness to train with their teammates during the off-season is the main factor in the program's sustained success.
