-The team kicked off their season by defeating Pinckney 26-31. Meet results were shared with athletes and will hopefully be posted on athletic.net in the future.

-The Mustang Invite is this Thursday, the 27th at Cass Benton. The bus leaves at 7:45 from the BHS fieldhouse parking lot. The boys Junior/Senior race is at 10 a.m. and boys Freshman/Sophomore race is at 11:10 a.m. Athletes will compete in our Black singlets. The top 25 individuals from each race earn medals that can be picked up near the finish line about an hour after the conclusion of their race. Bibs must be returned to coaches after the race as these bibs will be reused multiple times over the the season. Course Map

-All athletes are strongly encouraged to ride the return bus home with their teammates. This time in a positive social environment post competition is an excellent opportunity to strengthen connections and boost recovery.

-Thank you to our athletes that came out to help prepare the SMS course this past Tuesday! Additional thank yous to the athletes, alumni, and parents that came out to the Amp Thursday evening!

-Labor Day weekend we will have optional practices on Friday, Saturday and Monday. We tell the kids that optional means, "If you are in town, get your butt to practice."

-Looking ahead to the Averill Invite September 12th, the faster half of our roster will compete in the Gold Division at 9:00 and the slower half of our roster will compete in the Silver Division at 10:00.

-Race times for all our regular season meets are posted on athletic.net. Click on the meet name to view the departure and race start times.
