-The boys competed in the State Meet placing 26th with freshman Zach Stewart becoming Brighton's 29th runner to earn All-State honors! Results are posted on athletic.net and running2win.com.

-This season saw many accomplishments for the boys. They had their best dual meet record since 2011, highest finish ever in the KLAA Lakes Conference Meet, and qualified for the State Meet for the first time since 2010. A huge part of this season's success was the work that the kids put in during the winter, spring, and summer months. Athletes who are not playing a winter sport should contact Coach Elsey for details about winter training.

-Thursday, the 10th, Coach Elsey will be outside the AD office to collect uniforms. All uniforms must be washed prior to returning.

-Awards Night is set for Thursday, November 17th from 7:30-9:30 in the SMS Cafeteria.
