-Our first meet is the Early Bird Invite this Thursday, the 31st at Huron Meadows. The meet will see many races. Our varsity will compete in the large schools Gold race at 5:30 and all JV boys will race at 6:35. The boys will meet at the park and 4:00. The top 75 runners in both the varsity and JV races will earn a medal which will be distributed in the finish chute. There will not be an awards ceremony. Our boys will run in their team issued shorts and black singlets. Athletes may wear solid black spandex under their shorts.

-Uniforms will be passed out after Monday's practice. To be issued a uniform athletes must have setup their account and joined our team on running2win.

-Transportation Contracts were handed out at practice this week. Contracts and the fee should be returned to Coach Elsey by Friday, September 1st. A copy of the Transportation Contract can be printed here.

-Practices transition to the afternoon this week (Friday exception).

-Support Brighton Cross Country. Busch's grocery store partners with local school organizations with their Cash for Education program. By signing up for a MyWay account and selecting Brighton Cross Country, participants earn rewards for Brighton XC each time they use their MyWay account. More details can be found here.

-Support Brighton Cross Country. Chipotle on Grand River in Brighton will be hosting a Brighton Cross Country team night on Tuesday, September 26th from 4-8 p.m. 50% of the proceeds will be donated to Brighton XC. The flyer can be viewed here.
