-The boys finished 7th out of 42 teams in the Spartan Elite HS race at the Spartan Invite this Saturday! Results are posted on athletic.net.
-Tuesday, the 19th, we open up our division competition with Howell and Northville at THREE FIRES ELEMENTARY SCHOOL in Howell (last minute change from Howell High School). The athletes will be dismissed from class at 2:15 with the bus leaving at 2:30. The girls race at 4:15 and boys race at 4:45. The boys will be wearing their Orange and White singlets.
-Practice on Friday, the 22nd, will be quick do to the high number of runners with marching band conflicts. Athletes will immediately begin their run after school. They'll be dismissed when they finish stretching.
-Saturday, the 23rd, the boys race in the Jefferson Invite at Sterling State Park in Monroe. Runners will meet by the BHS field house at 7:45. Bus leaves at 8:00. We will have three groups for this meet. Varsity A will be supporting their teammates and doing a workout. Varsity B will race in a varsity singlet at 10:30. JV will race in their Black and Orange singlets at 12:35. Awards are at 1:10.
-Sunday, the 24th, members of the Varsity A group will meet for practice at Possum Hollow at Kensington. This practice is optional for Varsity B and JV groups.
-Support Brighton Cross Country. Chipotle on Grand River in Brighton will be hosting a Brighton Cross Country team night on Tuesday, September 26th from 4-8 p.m. 50% of the proceeds will be donated to Brighton XC. The flyer can be viewed here.
