-The Legends Invite saw many PRs, a new BXC Huron Meadows course record, and a 2nd place finish from the boys! Results are posted on athletic.net.
-Big thank yous to everyone who helped support the boys and girls XC programs at the Chipotle Team Night. Another big thanks for the parent volunteers who made the post Legends picnic possible!
-Tuesday, Oct 3rd, we compete against Novi and Grand Blanc at Cass Benton Park in Northville. The course is near the Bennett Arboretum. There are 3 separate meets at this same course on this same day. The bus will leave at 2:35. Our boys race at 5:10. The girls race at 5:12. We will race in our black and orange singlets. -Friday, Oct 6th, is the homecoming parade. Boys interested in marching in the parade will need to meet in the BECC parking lot at 5 p.m.
-Saturday, Oct 7th, is the Portage Invite. Attending runners will meet at the BHS Field House at 9:30 to carpool to Portage. Varsity will race at 2:30 in a varsity singlet, JV will race at 4:30 in the orange and white singlet. Top 50 in each race medal. Awards are typically 45-60 minutes after the conclusion of each race. Parking and traffic are a challenge. Updated parking and traffic info will be sent out as it becomes available.

-After the KLAA Championships on October 19th practices and meets become optional for non-varsity runners. Athletes planing on competing in the PR Invite must continue attending practices. Any runner needing to make up practices will do so during the two weeks between the KLAA and MHSAA Championships.
