-The boys secured the KLAA Gold Division Championship with victories over Livonia Stevenson and Hartland this past Tuesday! Saturday, the boys placed 8th at the Gabriel Richard Invite on a sloppy course. Results to both meets are posted on athletic.net.

-Wednesday's practice will be short. JV runners will finish at 3:30. Practice for varsity runners will end at 4:30.

-Thursday, the 19th is the KLAA Championships at Huron Meadows. Varsity race at 4:00, JV race at 5:00. Awards are at 5:45. The top 28 varsity runners will earn medals and are considered all-conference. The Division Champion trophy will be presented during the awards. Varsity runners will be dismissed at 2:10 and will wear a "varsity set". JV will be dismissed at the regular time and will wear the Black and Orange singlet. JV runners needing a ride may need to make alternate arrangements if they typically carpool with a varsity runner.

-After the conference meet all practices and meets become optional for JV athletes. If a runner wants to compete in the PR Invite, November 2nd, he must continue to practice as he has all season. These optional practices/meets will count towards any make-up practices. All make up practices must be completed before the State Meet to finish the season in good standing and receive end of season awards.

-Coach Elsey will collect uniforms of JV athletes after school Wednesday, October 25th in the field house lobby at 3:15. All items: bag, two singlets, jacket, pants, shorts (unless purchased) must be washed and returned. Any runner needing to catch a bus ride may leave their uniform in the Athletic Department office. Varsity/alternates and PR Invite runners will return their uniform at a later date.
