-The team had good numbers with our first week of summer workouts. The vast majority of these athletes made a point of sticking around after workouts to join in Nuke'em and Ultimate!
-Our first single track trail is at Island Lake this Wednesday. We will carpool from BHS at 8:00 and run the 6ish mile yellow trail. The group will return to BHS around 10:00.
-Runners received expectation sheets and emergency cards. Ideally everyone who attended a workout last week will turn in their expectations and emergency card this week.
-The MHSAA mandated Dead Week is the week of the 4th of July. Coach Elsey will not have any communication/contacts with athletes during this time.
-The Middle School XC Camp is Monday, July 23rd through Thursday, July 26th. This camp has been a huge success with about 60 runners completing the 2K XC course each year. Our high school XC athletes have been the key cog to this camp. Again this year we are counting on them to volunteer and ensure the middle school runners have an excellent experience.
-The first time trial is a little over a month away. This is the first of two opportunities to qualify for our team camp in August. A max of 20 runners will attend camp.
