-Over 40 BHS boys and girls XC runners volunteered at the Gleaners Garden for the Livingston County Day of Caring this past Wednesday! Having so many athletes willing to sacrifice their time to give back to their community is just another sign of how special this season will be.
-Runners attending Team Camp will meet by the BHS tennis courts at 9:00. Everyone attending must have their physical/consent form, emergency card, permission/disclaimer, and camp fee turned in to attend camp.
-Runners not attending camp received this week's workouts in their weekly r-mail. These athletes are highly encouraged to meet and train with their teammates.
-Thank you to everyone that attended the parent meeting. If you were unable to attend the parent meeting packet can be found here. Note there may be dates/times/locations that are inaccurate in the Parent Info portion of the packet. Always refer to the weekly updates on brightonxc.com for the most current/accurate schedule.
-Team pictures are set for 2:00 by the pond behind BHS on Monday, August 19th. The team will practice afterwards at BHS from 2:30-4:45. Online orders are available up to 1 p.m. on the 19th at the VSN preorder page. Coach Elsey has order forms available for anyone wishing to pay with cash or check.
-The 10k Co-Ed Relay and Family Picnic is from 3-6:30 on Tuesday, August 20th. The relay will begin around 3:30. The picnic will begin after athletes complete their cool down/stretching/etc. at approximately 5:00. The Sign Up for the Family Picnic is here.
-After practice on Tuesday, August 27th a photographer will arrive to take pictures of the seniors for senior banners. These banners are perfect for senior night, only cost $28, and are a great keepsake. Thank you Kristi Stewart for organizing!
