-The boys won the Waterford Mott Fall Classic and placed 12th at the Legends Invite this weekend. Results to both meets are on athletic.net.
-Tuesday, October 1st, the team will race Canton and Novi at Cass Benton. Dismissal is tentatively scheduled for 1:45 with the bus leaving at 2:00. The boys will race at 4:30. Athletes will wear the Checkerboard Singlets.
-Saturday, the 5th is the Portage Invite. This is one of the largest meets in the midwest. Competing runners will meet at 10:00 at BHS to carpool to Portage West Middle School. Varsity will race at 2:00 and JV will race at 4:00. The team camp will be setup in the area north of the tennis courts, between the team van parking and the 2 mile marker. Awards to the top 3? teams and top 50 individuals are approximately 45-60 minutes after the conclusion of each race. Varsity will wear a varsity singlet. JV will wear the Orange and White singlet. Parking and traffic is always a challenge with this meet.
-We still have a couple of slots remaining for the Milk Drive. Milk Drive Sign Up Genius
-Friday's practice will end early due to the home football game. Athletes will go for their run immediately after school. They will be dismissed after they finish stretching.
-Next week is our final dual/double dual of the season. We will be honoring our seniors with Senior Night after athletes have finished their cool down. Please make arrangements to attend Senior Night.
-After the KLAA Championships, optional/make-up practices begin for runners not competing in the Regional or State Meets. The PR Invite is an optional meet for athletes not racing at the State Meet. Any one that would like to compete in the PR Invite must continue to attend all practices.
