-Athletes capped off a solid first week of optional workouts at our annual team expectations meeting. The meeting concluded with the NXN viewing where Jack Spamer placed 17th earning Nike All-American honors with a top 20 finish! Both Jack and Zach Stewart will wrap up their 2019 XC season at Foot Locker Nationals next Saturday. The FLCCC live stream link is here.

-The latest update for the Shining Stars event: All XC runners are encouraged to attend. Coach Elsey will introduce/present the State team (top 10 athletes). All varsity runners will receive board recognition (Shining Stars certificate). All JV runners are encouraged to attend to support their teammates. The team will meet in the main hallway of the BECC building near the gym and special education office at 5:55. The meeting will begin at 6:00 and will wrap up around 6:40. Boys XC will be the final team to be recognized at the meeting.

-All workouts and meets are optional during the indoor season. Athletes received a recommended competition schedule in this week's r-mail. The complete indoor schedule and indoor season FAQs can be found at the MITS website.

-The Resolution Run will be held on New Year's Day at Coach Elsey's house at 11 a.m. Athletes planning on attending should contact Coach Elsey for details.
