-The boys defeated Northville on Senior Day improving their dual meet record to 6-5 on the season (5-1 in KLAA West duals). Results are posted on athletic.net.
-Thank you to all our meet volunteers throughout the season! Additional thank you to everyone complying with the spectator restrictions. It was great to have everyone back on the course this weekend!
-Thursday, the 15th athletes outside of the top 7 will race Hartland at Hartland High School. Runners will be dismissed from class at 1:45 with the bus leaving at 2:00. Athletes not on the bus need to arrive by 2:30. The race is at 4:00. The team will race in the Black and Orange singlets. Runners in the top 7 will not travel to the meet. The top 7 will travel to next week's JV dual with AA Pioneer.
-Saturday, the 17th the top 7 will race in the KLAA Championships at Huron Meadows. The boys need to arrive by 8:00 for their race with the West Division schools at 9:30 (East Division races at 10:30). Results from both divisions will be compiled to determine Team Champions and All-Conference runners. There will not be an awards ceremony, awards will be distributed at a later date. The team will race in varsity singlets that will be distributed and collected at the meet.
-The state has begun recruiting high school athletic teams to help fill the void in election workers. Anyone that is 16 or 17 years old can sign up to be a paid election worker. Any registered voter may also sign up to be a paid election worker. Click here for more details.
-The Pre-Regional meet is at Huron Meadows on Friday, October 23rd at 4 p.m. The top 4 teams and top 7 individuals not on an advancing team will qualify for the Regional meet on Saturday, October 31st at Dewitt High School. From the Regional the top 3 teams and the top 7 individuals not on an advancing team will qualify for the State finals on Friday, November 6th at Michigan International Speedway.
