-The team improved to 6-1 in KLAA competition after defeating Hartland and Howell on Tuesday, had a joint practice with SMS on Thursday, and finished 2nd at the Gabriel Richard Invite on Saturday! Results to both meets are on athletic.net.

-PRACTICE SCHEDULE CHANGES- Tuesday's practice will be at the south side of Huron Meadows. Wednesday's practice at BHS will likely end between 4:30-5:00.

-The KLAA Championships are this Thursday at Manly Bennett Park in Hamburg. Dismissal is after 5th hour with a 1:45 departure. Varsity (top 7) race at 4:10 and JV race at 5:30. Medals to the top 28 individuals (All-Conference) and trophies to the Division winners and Conference Champions are at 6:15. Varsity will wear Varsity singlets. JV will wear Black singlets. -Monday, the 20th is the Livingston County JV Invite at Huron Meadows. This is the last race of the season for athletes not competing at Regionals/State.

-Optional practices for JV runners begin Tuesday, the 21st. Any unexcused absences from the season must be made up prior to the State Meet. Athletes that'd like to continue training with the team through these last couple of weeks are strongly encouraged to do so.

-There is a road race at Kensington the morning after Regionals. Kind of expensive but might be a good opportunity to run fast.

-A member of our BXC family is searching for volunteers for the Detroit Free Press Marathon. This is an excellent way to earn volunteer/service hours and support the running community. More information is located here.
