Updates - 10-27-25

-Monday our JV squad finished their season strong at the Livingston County JV Invite Monday with many course bests and Friday the varsity squad won their third consecutive Regional championship with 4 athletes earning All-Region honors! Results to both meets are posted on athletic.net.

-Practices are optional this week for runners that are not on the 'State Team'. Anyone needing to make up missed practices must do so by this Thursday.

-This week's practices will run a bit shorter than normal.

-Friday, October 31st the top 7 will travel to MIS to preview the state meet course. They will be dismissed from school at 12:15. Afterwards the State Team will have team dinner at BHS.

-Saturday, November 1st is the MHSAA State Championships at MIS. The State Team will depart BHS at 11:50. The D1 boys race is at 3:30. Trophies to the top two teams and medals to the top 30 All-State athletes will be presented during the D2/D1 awards ceremony at 4:15. The State Team will have access to a Pit Row Suite before/during/after the race. Only State Team athletes/coaches will be permitted in the suite. Spectator admission is $11 and must be purchased through GoFan. The complete time schedule, course maps, parking maps, and much more can be found in the Final Qualifiers Packet.

-As runners wrap up their season they are encouraged to take a two week break. Athletes should return to consistent training after their break. Anyone competing in a winter sport is highly encouraged to focus on that sport and do everything they can to be great.

-Uniform return is Wednesday, Novemeber 5th. Anyone done competing may turn their items in early. We ask that all clothing items are washed and dry when returned with the bag. Athletes need to return their bag, White/Black/Checkerboard singlets, black warm up jacket, and black warm up pants (a few athletes weren't issued pants).
