-After a great first week the team will pause for the MHSAA mandated Dead Week. Coaches will not meet/communicate with athletes during this time. More info on Dead Week can be found on the MHSAA website.
-Photos from the first week of summer training are posted here. More photos will be added periodically throughout the summer. Unfortunately we had to cancel our volunteering day at Huron Meadows. We're considering rescheduling this event in August.
-The second single track trail and the Kensington Camp are the week following Dead Week. The Milford Trail is a technical 5ish mile mountain bike trail near downtown Milford. These single track trail runs are tough and are ideal for more fit and/or more experienced athletes. Our Kensington Camp consists of some running followed by lots of Nuke'Em and Ultimate. The camp is an awesome event and is strongly encouraged for everyone considering running cross country this fall.
-Coaches are distributing and collecting paperwork. Runners have received Emergency Cards, Individual Expectations, and were emailed the BXC Athlete Registration google form. In addition to these items, we are also collecting $20/pair for team shorts and the physical/consent forms. We've had several parents complete the BXC Parent Registration. Only one parent/guardian needs to complete the form. The parent registration does not need to be completed multiple times for siblings.
-Our first of two time trials are coming up quick. Athletes that run under 11:30 in either of the time trials are eligible for team camp at UAW Black Lake in Onaway, MI. Here are the links for the 2019 photos and the 2019 camp info.
