Updates - 7-6-20

-Hopefully everyone was able to take advantage of the weather and have a fun and safe 4th of July! The holiday provides a nice reflection point for our runners as they prepare for the final stretch leading up to the season.

-A few tweaks to this week's schedule.

-Wednesday, the 8th athletes will meet at the Island Lake trailhead at 8 a.m. for the team's first single track trail Wednesday. They'll be running the 6ish mile yellow trail. These trail runs are tougher than a typical trail at Huron Meadows or Bishop Lake. Attending runners should be capable of maintaining contact with the main group and have run 6 or more miles without stopping on several occasions. Athletes should be picked up at the trailhead at 9:30.

-Kensington Camp on Thursday, the 9th will be moved up to 9 a.m. and will conclude at 1p.m. The location will also be changing this year. The team will meet at Possum Hollow near the center ball field. Athletes MUST BRING THEIR OWN WATER AND LUNCH. With the active MHSAA Summer Guidance Update #2 there can be no sharing of food or water. With forecasted high temps reaching the mid 90's it is imperative that athletes bring plenty of water.
