-66 youth runners completed the 2K race during our Middle School Camp this week! Results are posted on the BXC Middle School Camp page. Our high school athletes were excellent at guiding this young group of up and coming runners. Photos from camp will be posted on the Scranton Middle School Cross Country and Track Facebook page.
-The Camp Time Trial was held this Friday. The top 25 athletes are invited to attend
Team Camp at UAW Black Lake in Onaway, MI. Packets containing the camp info and permission/disclaimer forms were distributed to qualifiers on Friday. The physical/consent form, emergency card, camp permission/disclaimer forms, and payment must all be turned in before departing for camp on August 9th. Athletes not attending camp will be r-mailed their workouts and are encouraged to meet up and train together.
-Wednesday, August 4th is a busy day for BXC.
-From 9:00-11:00 athletes from both the boys and girls programs are volunteering in the gardens at the LACASA center in Howell. All BXC runners are encouraged to help support this organization. Participants should bring a pair of gloves, hat, and water. The address is 2895 W Grand River Rd.
-The afternoon track and weight room workout will run from 4:45-7:00. The 2021 Summer Calendar INCORRECTLY shows this workout time as 3:45-6
-The BXC Parent Meeting will be held in the BHS Cafeteria at 7:30. All parents, especially parents new to BXC, are strongly encouraged to attend.
-The 2021 Meet Schedule identifies meets with full and partial roster participation. Our first meet is less than 3 weeks away!
