-Wrapped up a busy week of team events with Capture the Flag Monday, Day of Caring Wednesday, and Ultimate Friday! CTF and Ultimate are a blast but the highlight was the Day of Caring. Both the boys and girls programs did a fantastic job giving back to the community at LACASA. In addition to the team events, the Parent Meeting was held Wednesday night. -Athletes attending Team Camp will meet at the BHS back parking lot between the baseball field and tennis courts at 8:30. They should come dressed ready to run. The current weather shows occasional showers on Monday with sunshine the rest of the week. Everyone must have their physical/consent form submitted online to Final Forms, emergency card, permission/disclaimer, and camp payment turned in before departing for camp.
-Runners not attending camp received their workouts in this week's r-mail and are highly encouraged to meet up with their teammates and continue training.
-The first official practice is 3 p.m. at Huron Meadows on Monday, August 15th. A current physical (dated after April 15th, 2022) uploaded to Final Forms is required to practice with the team. Physicals typically cost about $30 at any urgent care facility. The athletic department is also requiring all athletes to register as a student on final forms.
-Team Pictures are scheduled for 2 p.m. Thursday, August 18th at the lake behind BHS. Pre-orders are made through VSNMichigan.com. Bulldog Singlets will be passed out after practices next week. To receive their singlet all documents/forms must be turned in and they must have a running2win account and have joined BHSdistance. The remaining singlets and warm ups will be distributed the following week.
-Our dual meet with Pinckney is next Friday. Race time isn't set yet but it will likely be in the morning.
