-Great week of team bonding/building with Capture the Flag Monday, Day of Caring on Wednesday, and Ultimate Friday! The Day of Caring in particular was excellent with over 40 boys and girls XC athletes getting work done at LACASA.
-Runners attending Team Camp will meet at the BHS back parking lot by the baseball field and tennis courts at 8:30. They need to come dressed ready to run. The current weather forecast shows chance of storms all week, please remind the athletes to pack accordingly. Everyone attending must have their physical/consent form, emergency card, permission/disclaimer, and camp payment turned in before departing.
-Runners not attending camp are highly encouraged to meet up with their teammates and continue training.

-The 2021 Paperwork google sheet identifies the required forms/documents for this season. Links to the Athlete Registration, Parent Registration, Emergency Card, Physical/Consent, and Individual Expectations are posted in the top row.
-The first official practice is 3 p.m. August 16th at Huron Meadows. A current physical is required to practice with the team. Runners unable to obtain a physical through their physician by the 16th are encouraged to visit one of the local urgent care facilities to avoid any unexcused absences. Walk up physicals generally cost around $30.
-Uniforms will be distributed after practices next week. Reminder all athletes must purchase their shorts. Each pair costs $20. To receive their uniform all documents/forms must be complete and he must join BHSdistance on running2win.com have
-Team Pictures are 2 p.m. Thursday, August 19th at the lake behind BHS. Pre-orders are made through vsnmichigan.com
