-The boys defeated Livonia Churchill and Canton this week improving their record to 3-1 on the season! Results to both meets are on athletic.net.
-Wednesday, the 16th the team races Ann Arbor Pioneer at Pioneer High School. The varsity (top 16) races at 8:00 and JV races at 8:30. The bus leaves from BHS at 6:00. Athletes not riding the bus need to arrive to the course by 6:45. Runners will be wearing the Checkerboard singlets. 2 spectators/athlete are allowed on the course but must stay clear of the start/finish area. The Pioneer boys coach recommends staying in/by the track as athletes run by 4 times. Here is the course map.
-Saturday, the 19th the team races Howell at Huron Meadows. Boys race at 9:00. Athletes need to arrive by 7:30 and race in the Orange and White singlets. Our A.D. Mr. Thompson is following up with the park on updated spectator guidelines. At this moment we are still planning for no spectators along the course. Updates will continue to be communicated via Remind.
-2020 is the third consecutive season that BXC will participate in the Busch's Fall Milk Drive. This program helps generate milk donations for local families in need while also providing the boys team funds for chocolate milk throughout the season. The team will be participating virtually through social media in 2020. Look for posts with the #BuschsMilkDrive. The drive begins September 21st and runs through October 4th. Please like, share the post, and stop in the store to donate!
-In addition to #BuschsMilkeDrive, Busch's helps to support BXC through their Cash for Education program. Once signed up with Cash for Education every purchase earns rewards for BXC. Details and registration information are here.
-Couple practice time changes this week. The school practice calendar shows Monday 3-5:30 and Friday 3-5:15. Monday's practice will end at 5:15 and Friday's practice will end at 4:45. Please always remember to check the parent updates for the most accurate schedule.
