-Another great week in the books. Tuesday we celebrated our seniors after a dual meet victory over Plymouth. Saturday our top 10 athletes competed in the Peoria Notre Dame Richard Spring Invite at Detweiller Park in Illinois finishing 17th out of 69 complete teams. Special thanks to our parents for the Senior Night snacks on Tuesday and to the staff/parents of PND for hosting us Friday evening. Results to both meets are on athletic.net. -BHS Pink Week is this week, with the Pink Run taking place on Wednesday, the 24th. The 5k is at 6:30 and the kids 1K begins at 6:00. The event supports Trinity Health Center. Details are located on the Brighton Pink Run registration.

-Saturday runners outside of our top 10 will compete in the Legends Invite at Pinckney High School. There is no bus. There is a $10 cash ($11 GoFan) admission fee for cars/spectators. Athletes need to meet at our camp by 12:10. There will likely be one race per gender with the boys race starting at 1:40. Awards to the winning team and top 50 individuals. If a JV race is necessary, that race will start at 3:00. Runners not competing in the meet will travel to support their teammates. Checkerboard singlets. Course Map

-Saturday, October 4th all athletes will compete in the Portage Invite.

-A member of our BXC family is searching for volunteers for the Detroit Free Press Marathon. This is an excellent way to earn volunteer/service hours and support the running community. More information is located here.
